Dear Members,
The Environmental Health Association of Canada and the Environmental Health Association of Québec invite you to attend Conference: Resilience 2025, a two-day virtual event taking place May 1 and May 2, 2025.
This year’s theme, Resilience, emphasizes the urgent need to advance scientific research, foster global collaboration, and drive systemic change to improve the lives of those living with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS).
Despite over 1.13 million Canadians—72% of them women—diagnosed with MCS (Canadian Community Health Survey, 2020), the condition continues to face significant barriers in healthcare recognition, protection from chemical exposures, and medical education. This conference seeks to bridge those gaps through science, advocacy, and community mobilization.
We’re proud to be joined by numerous national and international partners working toward lasting change—and we need you, our community, to stand with us.
Conference Highlights:
Day 1: Scientific research into MCS, including biological mechanisms, metabolomics, and gene-environment interactions
Day 2: International perspectives, human rights, qualitative research, and bias in science
